how I think Theon would rank his siblings

Rickon - they're besties. he doesn't know how they became besties or why rickon likes him so much, but they're bff's and nothing will break that bond. is lovingly mean and teases him a lot like the good big brother he is. (there was like a 6 mi the streak where rickon would *not* sleep in his own bed and would only sleep in theon's, again, why this is, he has no clue. he didn't mind after a while. they normally watched a movie until rickon fell asleep and then Theon went about doing shit on his Xbox/computer till he fell asleep)

Arya - sassy little shit. has kicked him in the ribs. also tried to fight one of his shitty ex friends for being a dick. he respects her.

Asha - doesn't see her often. tough love. kinda mean. she's blood though and he loves her and she loves him more than she ever lets on.

Bran - kinda creepy and really stoic, but he likes to be run around in his wheel chair which is fun, and he's fun to watch movies with cause he's really quiet and won't talk like all of their siblings tend to do.

Sansa - air head, brat, mean, likes dumb girl things. (he loves her so dearly and has and would continue to maim anyone who even thinks of touching her. they just have that classic brother/sister dynamic where they "hate each other's guts" for simply existing)

Grey wind - his Bf's dog. best cuddler.

Shaggy dog - second best cuddler. likes to go on hikes on the beach with him (and rickon who runs the whole way through and then needs to be carried back to the car)

Ghost - 10x better than his owner. the goodest boy.

Lady - very polite. the goodest girl. only ranked this low because he 'hates' Sansa.

Summer - chewed one of his shoes once as a puppy. he never forgave that. does let her cuddle up with him when they're watching movies with Bran.

Nymeria - mean to him, except when she wants belly rubs.

“Really?” Both of them said at the same time, looking speculative and mortified in turn.

The room was overwhelmingly, awkwardly silent as everyone collectively looked up from the bags of Lucifer’s old shit they’d come across in one of the storage rooms in the basement. Alastor was the last to look up, and seemed shocked that he had even said anything.

“Uh… thanks?” Angel blinked, taken aback by the sudden hostility.

Alastor laughed nervously. “What? No! No, I just think you’re very strange and you make me incredibly uncomfortable! AHA! What the fuck?” He flailed and dropped the small rubber ball he had been messing with.

“Wow, that was… really, really honest, Alastor!” Charlie applauded awkwardly. “Um… I mean, maybe a little… abrupt…” She looked at Angel, who seemed torn between amusement and genuine surprise. “But! But, at least you were open, and… and you—”

“An’ he didn’t mean to say any of that shit. What the hell’s this thing, anyway?” Husk cut her off and stalked forward, eyeing the rubber ball on the floor. “You still feelin’ honest there, boss?” He looked at Alastor, who immediately pivoted to look away, but not before speaking: “Yooouuu— have enormous eyebrows!”

“You wanna fork it over now, or are we gonna wait for you to drop a bombshell?” Husk held out a hand, one brow raised, and for a moment it looked like Alastor might haul back and punch him. Then, he picked up the ball and put it squarely into Husk’s palm. “Ha ha! Now the curse is passed to you!”

“What kinda bullshit Curse Of The Mummy bullshit are you on right now? You can’t just pass it along to the next poor schmuck who tries to help! You know what? Fuck you. Figure it out your own fucking— ah well, shit.” Husk threw the ball at Angel, who caught it with a bit of a fumble.

“I honestly wouldn’t fuck anyone in the room besides you! And maybe him!” Angel pointed at Husk, then Alastor.

“Really?” Both of them said at the same time, looking speculative and mortified in turn.

“And Vaggie but only if she had a strap—”

“Gimme that, you dick.” Vaggie used a broom handle to knock the ball out of Angel’s hands and it rolled over to Niffty’s feet, who immediately held it above her head with a screech.

“Yes, dear?” Alastor patted her head as she wheezed excitedly.

“I would marry a bug if I could, just so I could stab him to death in his sleep and steal his money!”

The silence was overwhelming, and even Alastor looked somewhat put off by her… honesty. “Okay. That’s very disturbing and I think you could use some professional help.” He said at last. “Oh dear, it’s still working.”

“I got committment issues, so I’m never gonna actually fuck you.” Husk let Angel know, who nodded sagely. “That guy really fucked up my whole everything, honestly.” He pointed at Alastor, who raised his hands innocently.

“That’s okay, sex is more of a job anyway, let’s be real.”

“I wish I could stab a bad boy right now.” Niffty yelled.

“You know what, Niff? We’re gonna just… put a pin in that, okay?” Charlie laughed nervously and snatched the ball before anyone else could accidentally pick it up. “Sooo, anyway… I thought my mom got rid of this a long time ago. See, I had this kinda little lying issue when I was really little, so Dad made this!” She held it up and squinted at it. “It just makes you kinda wanna tell the truth. Or it used to, anyway. I think the spell got a little wonky, ‘cause I never… did what you guys are doing.” She looked over at Alastor and Husk, who were giving detailed descriptions of everything they didn’t like about each other while Angel offered background commentary on their personality flaws.

“If I had my time back I’d have drowned you in a washing machine when I had the chance!” Alastor said sweetly. “In fact, the only reason I don’t do that is because the dear, sweet child who runs this hotel would almost certainly be upset if I redecorated her foyer with—”

“That’s a fucking riot comin’ from a man who bends over backwards every time his floozy fuckin’ friend barks up your tree wantin’ a favor for dick-all!”

“At least I have a friend~”

“I got plenty of those, pal!���

Alastor pursed his lips, giving Angel a window of opportunity to jump in. “Aw, come on, maybe now’s not the time, huh? What’s the fun of a bitch fight when everybody’s gotta be stone-cold honest?” He held up his hands and smiled nervously, sidling between Alastor and Husk. “Nobody’s gonna come out on top, amirite? Come on, Charlie.” He waved at her behind his back and she jumped in valiantly.

“I think… we’re all probably going to say things we don’t really mean.”

“It’s a truth… ball… thing! Ain’t the point to be honest?” Husk spat, even as he backed off.

Charlie himmed and hawwed for a second. “Not really. Honesty’s kind of… hard. I don’t think it’s wrong to have a little bit of a… a… Vaggie, help. What am I saying?”

“Honesty’s got a lot of shades of gray. This shit just tries to make it black and white. I’m glad your Mom tossed it in here.” Vaggie covered Charlie’s hands, and the ball, with her own. “I think it’s probably better to just destroy it for good, though. Don’t you?”

The full body relaxation that Vaggie caused in Charlie was probably something that could be marketed and sold for a small fortune, just based on the broad smile on her face. Between their hands, the ball crumbled into dust.

“Well, I, for one, would fuck you any day of the week, and twice on Sunday!” Alastor exclaimed loudly, gesturing at Angel with both hands, who looked like he was seeing the sunrise for the first time. “Oh good, it worked!” He added after a pause, laughing uproariously at his own joke as he walked up the stairs. “I’ve got to go wash my brain with bleach, thank you all for this horrible experience!”

“What about once on Sunday?!” Angel yelled up after him, cackling when he was flipped off with both hands as the door slammed shut. “Ah, I’m wearing ‘em down. Just you wait.”

Husk shuddered and mock-gagged. “Maybe you should just stay down here an’ think about why you’re the way you are.” He patted Angel on the shoulder as he brushed past, following Alastor upstairs. “Niffty, don’t lick the dirt. You don’t know where’s it’s been.” He added, as Niffty was currently attempting to suction the truth ball dust off the unfinished floor.

“Cool, that’s my cue to skedaddle. C’mon, basket case, let’s go wash yer tongue before it falls off.” Angel picked up Niffty by the back of the shirt and tossed her up the stairs and into Husk’s arms like a football. “You two comin’ or what? Lezbehonest, this ain’t the most romantic setting, but you do you, babes.”

“Did you just— we’re holding hands, Angel!”

“Hey, whatever tickles yer pickle.” He swung the door shut behind him, and turned off the light for good measure, plunging them into darkness while they both yelled after him and scrambled blindly for the stairs.

I haven't decided yet whether this is Mhok's way of dealing with the loss of his sister or a reflection of his worldview where giving up is not an option. But I'm keeping an eye on it, and also how this potentially develops

The constant judgemental looks towards Mhok from every person of authority, even without his parole leg band. Mhok understands what it's like to be judged from the moment someone sees you, something Day feels all the time but cannot clearly see.

Mhok's sister saving up for his tuition, one that he has no plans of using anymore... both of them dealing with the death of a future in very different ways

i would like to share my headcanons for the honor among thieves cast's subclasses and my reasoning for them (some of these have effectively if not already been confirmed but mnjsnjsngsnjm)

Edgin: College of Valor Bard / (one of the more physical bard subclasses and also it feels right. there's swords but the flavor isn't the same. half tempted to say eloquence but the flavor isn't all there either.) Holga: Path of the Totem Warrior (Elk) / (Elk Totem warrior cause she's from the Elk Tribe and also the being nimble on your feet feels right (Rare Elk W). I was considering berserker cause it's one of the very few not magic inclined barbarian subclasses but frenzy is a dumb ability and it makes me mad and i'm not gonna do that to her.) Simon: Wild Magic Sorcerer / (confirmed but also that's literally the only correct sorcerer subclass for him. that's just the correct option.) Doric: Circle of the Moon Druid / (confirmed via her statblock but i'll give my reasonings anyway. Moon druid is all about wildshape which.... yeah. Also they're described as 'fierce guardians of the wilds' which i think fits with the Emerald Enclave.) Xenk: Oath of the Ancients / (Somewhat confirmed? He talks about the tenants of the ancients which... yeah. Also it's described as 'as old as the race of elves and the rituals of the druids.' which y'know he's lived for 5 gagillion years because being partially undead does that to a mf so) Forge: Mastermind Rogue / (Described as: 'Your focus is on people and on the influence and secrets they have. Many spies, courtiers, and schemers follow this archetype, leading lives of intrigue. Words are your weapons as often as knives or poison, and secrets and favors are some of your favorite treasures.' HMMMMMMMM. Also some features from it: 'Insightful Manipulator' 'Misdirection' 'Soul of Deceit'. bro. he's literally a conman this is just the correct subclass option for him.) Sofina: School of Necromancy Wizard / (i don't think i need to explain why the UNDEAD wizard following a LICH would be a necromancy wizard i think that's pretty clear actually.) also for funsies: Kira: Arcane Trickster Rogue / (her eventually becoming a rogue makes the most sense to me, the other classes don't feel right for her. i also think the touch of magic from arcane trickster fits her well. i mean she already has that pendant and magic items are a gateway drug.)

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)? I trrrryy to separate my personal OTPs from what actually unfolds through writing, so for my canon characters I generally keep an open mind. Just because two characters canonically have a bond in the source material doesn't mean it'll translate to the threads bc it depends on the writers' interpretation and writing style and chemistry.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping? I love exploring many of the different facets of human connections. Being on the aroace spectrum means I love portraying "Queerplatonic" relationships as significant and passionate as romantic/sexual relationships.

For my hard no's: anything with domestic abuse I do not want to touch. but when it pertains to a genre like superheroes/fantasy/sci-fi, there's a difference there because that's more of a situational violence (in the case of an enemies to lovers.) i also don't really want to do any pregnancy plots ;;;;

Things that I'm GAME for: One-sided, unrequited longing is fine as long as we both discuss that dynamic. Past relationships/exes are great! Endgame ships that have plotted on/off's in between is fine too

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable? I feel like I don't have any room to talk given the ship in my banner graphic. sdjJDSJD If everybody involved is over 21 and there aren't weird power dynamics related to the age gap, it's fair game in fiction

Are you selective when shipping? Yes, I've had experiences where every time I was more blasé about accepting a ship I ended up not having fun at all. Sometimes when I plot with a writer I'll know instantly if we click, and if we can play off each other in the threads well on top of that, that's the synergy I'm looking for!

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW? PERSONALLY if it's something PG-13esque like making out and something you'd find in a CW show, I wouldn't clutch my pearls but I would tag it just so the dash remains a safe space for people. But if I see a read more cut I'm expecting clothes are off and we are talking about 'heat pooling' 'voices hitching' tongues doing ANY gymnastics etc etc

Who are other muses you ship your muse with? at the moment eobard/iris is the only ship i have which is DIVINE AND COMEDIC. roman and vael are their own thing, all anxiety and teeth

A little about me!

Hi! I see you've found my blog! This is just a place for me to express the more closeted and horny side of myself. I've had this blog for a while so I figured it was about time I got around to making one of these, lol.

So, some things about me. You can call me Nate (full transparency, not my real name, but it's what I'm gonna go by on here!), and I'm a 20 year old nerdy cis bi dude who loves all things Marvel, DC, Castlevania, Final Fantasy, Undertale, NieR, Trails, and a bunch of other series, haha. I'm also a musician, I've been writing covers for about 6 years now and writing my own music for a couple years (though none of my original stuff is public... yet), I've played guitar for about 4 years, and I like to think I'm pretty good at it!

As for this blog, this is mostly gonna be an NSFW blog, a place for me to explore my hornier side and post things that I find hot and share them with other people who find them hot, lol. I'm a very switchy person (I blame it on the ADHD, lol), but I tend to be more submissive most of the time, so most of the stuff on here will reflect that. Mostly, this is just gonna be a safe place to explore this side of myself. like... it's so clear they've never stood in the middle of an art museum and felt like crying, looking at a piece that somehow cuts into your marrow even though the artist and you are separated by space and time. they've never looked at a poem - once, twice, three times - just because the words feel like a fired gun, something too-close, clanging behind your eyes. they've never gotten to the end of the movie and had to arrive, blinking, back into their body, laughing a little because they were holding their breath without realizing.

... how do i explain to you - you can make AI that does a perfect job of imitating me. you could disseminate it through the entire world and make so much money, using my works and my ideas and my everything.

i don't know there's a word for it. in high school, we become aware that the way we feel about our artform is a cliche - it's like breathing. over and over, artists all feel the same thing. "i write because i need to" and "my music is how i speak" and "i make art because it's either that or i stop existing." it is such a common experience, the violence and immediacy we mean behind it is like breathing to me - comes out like a useless understatement. it's a cliche because we all feel it, not because the experience isn't actually persistent. so many of us have this ... fluttering urgency behind our ribs.

i'm not doing it for the money. for a star on the ground in some city i've never visited. i am doing it because when i was seven i started taking notebooks with me on walks. i am doing it because in second grade i wrote a poem and stood up in front of my whole class to read it out while i shook with nerves. i am doing it because i spent high school scribbling all my feelings down. i am doing it for the 16 year old me and the 18 year old me and the today-me, how we can never put the pen down. you can take me down to a subatomic layer, eviscerate me - and never find the source of it; it is of me. when i was 19 i named this blog inkskinned because i was dramatic and lonely and it felt like the only thing that was actually permanently-true about me was that this is what is inside of me, that the words come up over everything, coat everything, bloom their little twilight arias into every nook and corner and alley

"we're gonna replace you". that is okay. you think that i am writing to fill a space. that someone said JOB OPENING: Writer Needed, and i wrote to answer. you think one raindrop replaces another, and i think they're both just falling. you think art has a place, that is simply arrives on walls when it is needed, that is only ever on demand, perfect, easily requested. you see "audience spending" and "marketability" and "multi-line merch opportunity"

and i see a kid drowning. i am writing to make her a boat. i am writing because what used to be a river raft has long become a fully-rigged ship. i am writing because you can fucking rip this out of my cold dead clammy hands and i will still come back as a ghost and i will still be penning poems about it.
